DEUCE is a quilt pattern shaped by the particular confidence of a British summer — striped deckchairs, grass courts, long evenings, familiar rituals and colour held in motion.
Built from one repeated block, DEUCE uses colour placement and pieced sashing to reveal a second, interwoven structure across the quilt. Traditional geometry is reworked through scale, contrast and repetition, creating a design that feels both rooted and distinctly contemporary.
Its first expression takes its cues from Wimbledon whites, crisp blue summer skies, the pink of a stick of rock at the seaside, the hopeful green of grass lawns, and Parma violets - a staple in my Grandma’s handbag — but DEUCE is designed to move easily into a palette of your own.
The relationship between the fabrics matters more than the colours themselves.
